When Apple announced the new iPhone 11 Pro, they also revealed that the new phones will offer up faster connectivity speeds. It sounds good, doesn’t it? However, Apple did not mention exactly how much faster we might be able to expect, but thanks to SpeedSmart, they have managed to get their hands on test data that shows just how fast we can expect.

Now, the speed improvements you can look forward to will differ from carrier to carrier, but for the most part, you will see some improvements. It does not appear to be too big of a jump so don’t expect it to be too noticeable, but it will be faster, although whether or not you can tell is another story. This is compared to the iPhone XS and XS Max from 2018.

SpeedSmart has since been asked to compare the speeds against some of Apple’s 2019 Android competitors, in which they claim that once they get their hands on the phone, they will run some comparisons. The new iPhones will continue to use LTE as Apple is only expected to introduce 5G to its iPhones in 2020.

5G speeds should greatly trump LTE speeds, but once again, how it fares against other 5G phones will depend on a variety of factors, like software optimization and also choice of hardware.
