Mackenzie allegedly accused her husband of cheating on her, and she was referring to herself on Instagram as ‘a single mother.’ Her friends had captured a screenshot of the now-deleted post, showing how Mackenzie had exposed Josh and her cousin on May 19. All this cheating, she said, had been taking place ever since she lost her mother, Angie Douthit, who died of cancer. The two, Mackenzie and her husband Josh, were married in August 2013 and had three kids, Gannon, Jaxxie, and Broncs.
Sharing on Facebook, she said that her husband had previously cheated on her with another woman. She decided on staying away from Josh and claimed that she had witnessed him kissing a woman at Texas bar. However, he always refused to accept her allegations. In October 2019, the two got back together, and Josh proposed to her again on her birthday.
However, he later confessed that he would change and go back to the right path. This, she said, made her mother very happy, and she decided on forgiving and accepting him again.
Mackenzie McKee, a reality star alleged that ever since she lost her mother, Josh McKee was not always by her side as he had been. She said that she would always go crazy whenever she thought about Josh, but he always still turned out to be a busy man. She said that this made her go mad because Josh would always go back home late from work and then go fishing all night. He was not spending much time with her, and this would still hurt her feelings.
She was shocked to realize that Josh was cheating on her all along, which explained why they hardly had time to spend together. Some people close to her had warned her that Josh’s loyalty could be split, but on every occasion, she disagreed with them.
According to what she said, she randomly decided to check on Josh’s call logs and texts. She found out that her husband had been having a conversation with a woman most of the time, and even the ‘fishing staff’ that he was doing up to 3 a.m was just but a way of fooling her. Upon tracking the person to which the number belonged, she was astonished that it was her very close cousin. This was a tough time for her, and it tore the family apart. It hurt even more that it was her cousin who betrayed her that much.
As expected, finding the truth took a hard toll on her. She was heartbroken, and she could not take it anymore, so she took it on social media.
“But today is the day I walk away. Pray for me, that I can function, feel worthy again, and find hope.” She said, “Pray for my kids. I always wanted my family to work, so they don’t have to live in two different houses. I was 100% committed to Josh, and so much I don’t understand.”
